A WORCESTER opticians is asking customers to see their way to help local good causes over Easter.
Visitors to Specsavers in Broad Street Worcester, can donate a chocolate egg by Good Friday and on Saturday, April 4 staff will distribute the eggs to hospices and foodbanks in the area.
Worcester Specsavers store director, Alan Richards, said: "We’re thrilled to be fundraising for Acorns Children’s Hospice, which has been our nominated charity for a number of years now. Easter is a great time to give back to our local community, particularly through chocolate. We urge shoppers to pop in with their Easter eggs which will be given to deserving causes in Worcester."
The store is also holding a raffle to win a giant Easter egg, with tickets available for a £1 donation. All proceeds will be going to Acorns Children’s Hospice. The winner of the raffle will be announced on Saturday, April 4.
