SCOUTS from Herefordshire are currently enjoying taking part in the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan.
Ten Hereford Explorer Scouts are part of a 40-strong Hereford & Worcester County Unit 43 Contingent, who are currently basking in 30 degree heat in Yamaguchi, Japan.
They have spent 18 months planning and fundraising for the trip
Scouts from all over the world have gathered to take part in a host of activities.
Deputy Hereford and Worcester contingent leader, Chris Ruffe, said: "We are having a great time, having spent time exploring Tokyo, before moving to our main Jamboree camp - where we have visited Hiroshima, local schools and participated in global adventures on site.
"We move to Kagoshima on the weekend to spend time with Japanese scout families."
