MEMBERS of the Ledbury Young Farmers Club recently went to Ledbury Primary to erect a fence for the school's allotment garden.
The team included brothers Matt and Andy Garner, Garth Taylor and Jonathon Rodgers, and they set to work in very cold temperatures.
The allotment garden has been developed with the help of the Ledbury Allotments Association.
Michael Baker, the association's chairman said he was delighted that the fence had been put up so quickly and so well.
He added: "Everyone was impressed with the skill and energy of young people who represent the future of farming.
"In turn, the Young Farmers were pleased to hear that children were being taught about growing vegetables and other produce."
