DID any other readers notice the contradictory policies of Worcester County Council in last week's Gazette (February 6)?
On Page 18 the council's New Generation dossier emphasises the need to market the county's "rural Englishness", while on Page 2 we find Richard Udall, who chairs the council's overview, scrutiny and performance board, exploring the possibility of selling 3,300 acres of farmland which is currently owned by the council.
Clearly, the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing.
