Give local people a chance to have say on cable car
FOLLOWING the rather predicable outcome regarding the Conservators' vote on a proposed cable car for the hills, may I suggest that in view of the level of support that there appears to be among the people of Malvern, they should be given the opportunity to express their democratic preferences.
When next the Conservators come up for election, a pro-cable car group could put up candidates who would be willing to campaign for a cable car.
In the past, the election of conservators has been met with general apathy and for once the election would be about an important issue of genuine interest.
