MALVERN will entertain last season’s beaten finalists Worcester Wanderers in the semi-finals of the North Midlands Cup.
Wanderers avenged last season’s defeat by Bournville in the final at Dudley Kingswinford by beating them on the more tries rule after the sides were level at 17-17 in their quarter-final.
Malvern progressed to the last four with a bye through the last eight, while the other semi-final will see Hereford host Newport.
In the North Midlands Shield, Ledbury travel to Stourbridge Lions for a semifinal clash.
Dates for all matches have yet to be confirmed but the semi-finals are due to be played on the first available date when both clubs are free of league or RFU Cup commitments.
