MALVERN'S Georgia Hennessy made a great start to playing Down Under after scoring 76 not out while opening with Australian captain Meg Lanning.
Playing for Box Hill at Plenty Valley at Yarrambat War Memorial Park, Melbourne, the Barnards Green player helped her team to a comfortable 10-wicket success.
Coming up against Warwickshire team-mate Laura Crofts, Hennessy clean bowled one of the openers early on on her way to taking 2-33 from 10 overs in Plenty Valley's 213-8.
Lanning (126no) and 19-year-old Hennessy then knocked off the total in 35 overs with no loss to win the Victorian Premier Cricket Women's Premier Firsts clash.
