MALVERN Town could not add more silverware to their Worcestershire FA Senior Urn triumph.

Les Jones’ side, who finished fifth in the West Midlands League Premier Division, slipped 1-0 at home to Bewdley Town in the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup final.

A tough battle saw league rivals Bewdley score a late winner as Malvern struggled to perform anywhere near their best.

Town beat Midland League Division One champions Highgate United 3-0 in the Urn final in March.

Bromyard Town should join Malvern in the top flight after finishing their title-winning Division One season with a 0-0 draw at Shenstone Pathfinders.

Malvern Town under-21s completed their Division Two campaign with a 6-0 thrashing at Red Star Alma, while Powick Rangers were kept out of the top four by a 3-1 home defeat to Warstone Wanderers.
