TOM Hughes and Victoria Baker won at Newent’s 24th annual triathlon.
The race centred around Newent Community School and the surrounding roads.
There were 182 men and women, aged from 72 to 15, competing as individuals and teams, ranging from novices to the more experienced.
The current organisers, led by race director Bill Hawkes for the last ten years, have raised a total of £33,000 in their time.
Hawkes said: “We must congratulate those who took part this year and all the volunteers who helped, especially Severnprint, who have supported this race since its inception 23 years ago.
“We like to see local charities and organisations benefitting and hope to do as well this year and even better in our jubilee year in 2015.”
The overall men’s race was won by Hughes in 52 minutes 10 seconds.
The women’s race went to Baker in one hour three minutes 19 seconds.
The awards were presented by Severnprint managing director Simon Pealing.
