A WARM spring evening saw 27 riders compete in Velo Club Sevale’s 5.5-mile time trial.
Sevale’s William Davies and Worcester St John’s rider Jason Milner tied for first place, with both completing the Hanley Swan course in 12 minutes three seconds.
Jez Pile from Sevale was six seconds behind in third followed by Worcester’s Martin Lines (12.12).
Sevale’s Mark Webb was first on a standard road bike in 13.05 and seventh overall.
Other times were by Mike Amery (12.33), Roddy Gosden (13.01), Gwyn Williams (13.07), Sean O’Toole (13.10), Stuart Bird (13.38) and Lawrence Wilson (13.38).
Sevale race next Thursday on the 10-mile Severn Stoke course from 7pm.
