IN perfect weather conditions, Ledbury RFC welcomed 320 local primary school pupils to Ross Road to participate in the annual Tag Rugby Festival.
33 Club Members gave their time to help with the smooth running of the festival, with a special mention going to the Clubhouse staff for providing 65 lunches to all the volunteers and teachers.
Board members, First Team players, Coaches, Colts players and parents took up roles to referee, pitch manage, touch judge and co-ordinate the event which hosted 32 teams from 14 schools.
The teams were divided into two parallel cascade competitions. They would play three games each in mixed pools during the morning session. Then, after a lunch break, play three further games in ‘ranked’ pools, competing for medals and silverware.
The following successful teams in all the pools were presented with medals and trophies by Guy Lawrence of Westons Visitor Centre.

Bowl – Madley 2 and Madley 3
Trophy – Eastnor 2 and Bridstow
